01 · Free scan
What can AI agents not read in your store?
The scan reads your store from the outside, the way ChatGPT, Perplexity or Gemini would, and shows what the answer misses: 29 checks in 6 categories, one score from 0 to 100. Around 30 seconds, and it stays free.
02 · The 6 categories
What the scan checks
The same 29 checks the report shows, grouped the way an agent hits your store.
Access
Can the search crawlers get in at all? robots.txt rules and bot blocking for OAI-SearchBot, Googlebot, Bingbot, Claude-SearchBot, PerplexityBot and Google-Extended.
Feeds & Index
Is there a machine-readable path to your range? products.json, the product sitemap, the mandatory fields per product, price and stock data.
Product schema
Does each product carry valid JSON-LD? Offer, availability, GTIN, brand, images, variants.
Shipping & Returns
Can an agent answer the delivery question? Shipping cost, delivery time and return policy in machine-readable form.
Reviews
Does rating markup exist, and does it match the page?
Agent readability
Is core content in the HTML without JavaScript, and does your server answer bots fast enough that they do not give up?
Three doors come first
Before any of it counts, three things have to be true. They cut across the categories, and if one of them is shut, the report shows the reason instead of a score.
- The server shows something. No password page, no 403, no challenge. Behind a password an agent sees the password page and nothing else.
- Readable without JavaScript. Title and price are in the delivered HTML. Agents do not run your JavaScript.
- At least one crawler is allowed. A single blocked bot costs you one channel and counts as points. The door is only shut if robots.txt locks out every one of them.
03 · The run
How the scan runs
Public pages only.
The scanner reads your robots.txt, your homepage, your catalog and a sample of product pages. No login, no store access.
Only a sample.
The free scan samples 5 product pages. Enough to measure the pattern, not every single product.
Around 30 seconds.
A scan typically takes around 30 seconds. The result is a report with all 29 checks, each with the measured evidence behind it.
Share it, or take it back.
Every report has its own link, not indexed by search engines. You can share it, and you can have it deactivated at any time.
What the score means.
A high score means agents read prices, stock and shipping without guessing. If one of the three doors is shut you get no number at all, because a number measured through a locked door is an artefact and not a result. The score measures your store, it is not a ranking against others.
04 · What follows
From measuring to fixing
The scan measures from outside. The Shopify app closes what it found: product schema, GTINs, shipping and returns, review markup, robots.txt and the product feed. Every write is approved by you, logged and reversible. It re-scans weekly, and if a theme update quietly undoes a fix, that fix comes back as an open proposal instead of staying green.
Inside the app a second measurement joins it, reading your admin catalog instead of your storefront: how complete your product data is for the AI answer, and whether your products are eligible for the Shopify Catalog at all. That one is a different number, and this scan cannot see it from the outside. Prices are on the pricing page.
05 · FAQ
The obvious questions
Yes. A sample of 5 product pages, all 29 checks, the full report. No account, no payment data, and it stays free. It is stage one of the product; the paid stages start where the app writes to your store.
The URL is scanned and stored with the report. Your report link appears right after the scan, no email needed. The email is optional. If you leave it, it is used to tell you about the product, and for nothing beyond that. Privacy policy.
No. The scanner reads only what any visitor reaches without logging in, like robots.txt, the catalog and product pages. If it is not public, it is not measured.
Yes to both. Each report is a private link, not indexed. If you want it gone, the link can be deactivated and shows a withdrawal notice afterwards.
Because one of the three doors is shut: the server shows an agent nothing, the page is empty without JavaScript, or robots.txt locks out every crawler. A number would then be measuring your store through a closed door. The report names the door and the measured evidence.
Scans read only public pages, and reports are not indexed or listed anywhere. If you run the store and want a report link deactivated, write via the contact page. It will be done without hurdles. Contact.
06 · After the report
The scan is free. The repair runs in the app.
Run the scan first. The report shows what an agent misses today, and it costs nothing to find out. Installing is the step after that, not before it.
