Cookie Policy
Deutsche Fassung: Cookie-Richtlinie
Cookie information under § 25 TDDDG. Transparency under Art. 13 GDPR.
02 · No banner
No consent banner
Opening a page here sets nothing. Cookies appear only when you act: picking a language sets one, and signing in to the Parsance app sets the two that carry your login.
There is no tracking, no third-party cookies and no localStorage. Page views are counted, but that reach measurement sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device, which is why it has no row in the table below; it is described in the privacy policy. Nothing here needs your consent under § 25 Abs. 1 TDDDG, which is why there is no banner. All three cookies are purely functional; § 25 Abs. 2 Nr. 2 TDDDG permits them without consent because each only does the one thing you asked for — remembering your language, or keeping you signed in.
No banner does not mean no transparency. This page is the complete inventory.

Cookies on this website
The full list. It has three rows.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| parsance-lang | Remembers the language you picked | 12 months | First-party (this site) | § 25 Abs. 2 Nr. 2 TDDDG |
| __Host-parsance_session | Keeps you signed in to the Parsance app after your Shopify sign-in | 30 days | First-party (this site) | § 25 Abs. 2 Nr. 2 TDDDG |
| __Host-parsance_oauth_state | Protects the Shopify sign-in itself against forgery (CSRF); deleted right after | max. 1 hour | First-party (this site) | § 25 Abs. 2 Nr. 2 TDDDG |
The language cookie's value is just en or de and contains no personal data. Should the value ever be treated as personal data, Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO would carry it — the legitimate interest in showing the language you chose. The two sign-in cookies hold random tokens; what they relate to is described in the app section of the privacy policy.

Deleting, changes, questions
You can delete any of these cookies in your browser settings at any time. Deleting the language cookie only affects the display language in the places that read it (the logged-in dashboard, the scan report and similar pages); there the display falls back to the default, German, until you pick a language again. The pages here follow the URL path: /de is German, everything else is English. Deleting the sign-in cookie simply signs you out of the app; signing in through Shopify sets a fresh one.
This list is updated before any new cookie or storage technology ships. Anything that requires consent gets a consent mechanism first.
How this site handles data overall is described in the privacy policy. Questions go through the contact page.
