01 · Live in the Shopify App Store

AI agents read your store. Do they find the GTIN?

Shopify put you into ChatGPT, Copilot and Gemini automatically in June. Being in is not the same as being readable.

We don't name names. Whether your store shares these gaps is what the check will tell you at launch.

04 · The agent's view

What an agent sees of your store

Your customers get the full page: images, reviews, price. An agent only reads the data fields underneath. Three finding classes from the audit plus the target state, switchable.

07 · Questions

The obvious questions

  • The free scanner is live and checks your store. The product interface you see above runs on sample data. The app behind it — fixes, operations, reports — has been live in the Shopify App Store since 22 July 2026.

  • Yes. The listing has been public since 22 July 2026. You install the app from the Shopify App Store, and the paid tiers are booked inside it, billed through Shopify.

  • That solved access — for everyone at once. The catalog syndicates the data you have; it does not complete it. Which store an answer picks is decided by what agents can read: shipping terms, GTINs, review markup, availability. Measuring and completing that layer is what Parsance does.

  • The feed carries whatever your product data contains. If GTINs, shipping details or review markup are missing, it carries exactly those gaps. Stores with active platform features were incomplete in our audit too.

  • Other platforms have no catalog rails at all — there, readable storefront data is the only way into AI answers. The scanner works for any store today; deeper platform integrations beyond Shopify are on the roadmap, Shopware first.

  • Once, yes. But product data drifts: new products, theme updates, price changes. And what the engines read keeps changing. That is what the weekly run of the paid tiers is for: holding the state, not just creating it.

  • The scan needs your store URL; the email is optional and only used for the report. Stored in Frankfurt (EU). Details in the privacy policy.

  • Merchants running their own online store, and agencies managing stores. A business-only offer (B2B), consumers aren't the audience.

  • The scan stays free. The paid tiers are listed above; you book them inside the app, billed through Shopify.

08 · Get started

Two ways in

The scan needs no installation and reads public pages only. The app needs your Shopify store and permission to write in it.
